My Work
Dr James Brennan has worked as a clinical psychologist in the UK’s National Health Service for over 30 years, helping a wide range of medically ill patients. As honorary senior lecturer in palliative medicine at the University of Bristol, he has authored influential journal papers and lectured internationally on the psychology of cancer, and has taught medical and doctoral clinical psychology students for most of his career.
His 2004 book Cancer in Context (Oxford University Press) received accolades in many academic journals and has been reprinted four times. He lives and works in Bristol, UK |
